Table for four?

A day off, but rudely awoken by the builders at 8am which definitely left me a little discombobulated.

With it being midweek we risked a wee venture out to Carron Reservoir and took a walk along the lochside trail.   Dark clouds threatened but eventually a little bit of blue sky appeared and the sun lit the far hills.  Pity we didn't bring coffee and cake to enjoy at this well placed bench.

The birds were all in good voice but only this chaffinch in extras stopped for long enough to be snapped.
