Whooper Swan

Another fantastic day watching the birds. A lovely cycle ride to Big Waters nature reserve rewarded with yet another first for me. I have never seen Whooper swans before: today there was a flock of about 30 of these lovely swans to enjoy, and to give me another new species to blip.

Also saw wigeons, tufted ducks, mallards, great crested grebes, oystercatchers, cormorants, Canada geese, grey-lag geese and an egret.
