Deal Pier

Deal Pier is not the most beautiful but being built post war of concrete it's not likely it will get burnt down. It's a favoured fishing spot as is the shore. The Georgian houses on the seafront feature in many a TV costume drama.
A glorious hot day today - no coats needed. We bought fish, bass and hake, enjoyed a flask on the prom and went to the farm shop on the way. There was a queue for Covid vaccines outside the pharmacy on the High Street. It was nice to see younger age groups there.
