Bobby Dazzler...

I was hoping to find a few green tiger beetles out in the sunshine today, and I did! What a stunning little beetle...it hunts spiders, ants and caterpillars on heaths, grasslands and sand dunes. It is one of the fastest insects and a dazzling metallic green colour. The Wildlife Trusts also describe it as a 'ferocious and agile predator.'


I also found a few wheatear too - extra.
