HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ANGUS!

Angus turns 8 today. When we first adopted him, from a Quarter Horse ranch near Sacramento, CA, he looked more like a hamster than a puppy. His father was a Border Collie who had similar markings; & his mother was a tri-colored Australian Shepherd. He got his plumey tail from his father, but his blue eyes are a mystery,

As a puppy, he was such a hooligan, but he has grown into such a wonderful adult dog.
His best friend is Rocky, a Beagle across the street, who we see in our walks. He is not so keen about the barking Labs on our route.

Today, on our walk, we saw our Indian neighbors, & I told them about Angus’ birthday. They were amused that I would celebrate a dog’s birthday.

Since COVID, I say celebrate everything, even a dog’s birthday.
