Livery Companies

Tier 5 - Day 85

Met fellow Blipper W today for a long awaited walk around the Livery Company Halls in the City of London. There are currently 110 of them and we saw probably 20, so lots more to find. Some are discreet and hidden whereas others are prominent and striking. This Blip is of the Hall of the Worshipful Society of Apothecaries. All Companies are placed in a precedence list and the Apothecaries are 58th.
The extra is an installation at St Paul's called Lunch Break, where forty golden angels sit on swings above the road. It was a feature of the London Festival of Architecture in June 2019. Whilst it was only supposed to be there for a few weeks, it seems to have been extended for a very long time, or it has been returned.
