Wave Chaser
Tonight I drove up the River Trent to West Stockwith to watch the tidal bore that can cause a wave up to five feet high and which flows upstream. It can occur a few times per year, and on the River Trent it is known as the Trent Aegir (the Norse God of the Sea). Alas myself and other "Wave Chasers" were unlucky this time, but still very much enjoyed the excursion.
The main picture is directly at the side of the extra.
