Street urchins

Did a nocturnal stroll and chat with the other members of the Big Nose Club. 
Dun Laoghaire was heaving tonight. A lot of people on the pier. A lot of litter. A lot of noise. It felt like the tail end of a sunny summer day. Which it almost was. 
We did not do a second lap of the pier as it was too busy. We walked along the sea front as far as the 40 Foot. Where there still were some swimmers. At 10.15pm. 
Now, I do love my sea-swims. But I would not be comfortable with swimming in the dark. 
I'd imagine orcas everywhere.
