Last Week’s Page

There were four of us in class today. Last week’s topic was gun violence in the US. We were to use a map in our piece. All the pictures were very moving. We are, like the majority of Americans, very sad and frustrated that we have not implemented effective gun control here. My piece is my attempt to try to understand how anybody could walk into a crowd of strangers and start shooting. I know I have just scratched the surface and have my own beliefs imbedded in this map to love or hate. And for me it is important to add the element of choice to the mix. I do wish our elected representatives would take the needed action to make guns as hard to get as automobiles.
