The Beautiful Last Day of March
There is so much beauty everywhere in our precocious spring that I'm finding it difficult to put up just one photo. I had chosen the gorgeous little chimney and roof first of all... but when I downloaded the photos onto my computer this morning, I had to add several other images too.
The chimney is still my favourite with the blue sky showing through under the little roof. The filtered lighting was so magical this morning, illuminating the fresh young green lives, shining on the pretty Periwinkles and a blue sky showing off a bush of Forsythia growing in front of my apartment building.
There's so much going on and it's all too lovely not to share with you here!
I sat out on my balcony in the sunshine after lunch, facing my Camellia bush to read. It's 24C/75,2F! That's way above average for March.
Jean had a Covid test today and will get the result tomorrow to see if he can come and join me over Easter. The Covid situation in France is dire and the third wave is said to be worse than the second one last autumn. Hospitals can no longer cope. Whenever shall we be free again?
I hope that all my Blip pals are well. I think of you all, even when I'm not posting here!
