Bangor

We went to Homebase in Bangor this morning, in search of some plants - we managed to spend quite a lot of money even though there were lots of empty shelves.
We decided to take the long way home, and remembering a comment on a recent blip by Cygnus, we found the Guillemot for a take away coffee before having a walk on the Eisenhower Pier, today's blip is one of the mosaics on the pier. There are stunning mosaics all along the pier, this one is to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the D-Day landings. The extra is the plaque that is placed to the side of the mosaic.
