Mom!!! Look out there!

The dog and I sat on the porch this morning as it was really pleasant just after sunrise.  The family of deer came up just after the feeder had spun out some corn.  She wanted to chase them but a few no's from me had her staying right where she was.     I was able to get down to sit on the porch behind her (hence the blur of her face) to get her head in the photo of the deer.

They are getting used to me being outside on the porch.  Many of these are last years babies.   By June I am hoping we see newborns coming with the moms to feed.     So glad our little herd that lives around us is thriving each year.   Which is why we feed them.
