Gaggle

Warm and sunny all day, so late afternoon MrM and I set off for a walk. We decided to do the Humbleton round via Kettles Fort, thinking that it would be significantly longer than the usual route straight up to the Common. But not so - Strava tells us that it was just a little longer but with more ups and downs. We passed these guys near the small ford - seven or eight of them altogether, and they're free to roam over quite a large area. On the moorland it was good to see lots of curlews and skylarks.

Home for a late evening meal. We're enjoying these longer evenings!
