Knaresborough Castle

Another glorious spring day, first open toed sandals day of the year! Lots of people enjoying the sunshine up by the castle. Sadly - for the children - the paddling pool nearby was dry.
Knaresborough Castle dates back to the 12th century, and has glorious views down to the river, but I was taken by the flower bed in front of it which marks 100 years of the British Legion
No litter in Knaresborough although there was a police presence - feeling disgusted and shocked by the litter being left in public places shown on the news
