Avocados

Today's the day ............................ to go organic

It was oranges back in January - and now today we took delivery of a box of organic avocados which had come all the way from Spain where they were grown.

They came from the same CrowdFarming organisation that brought us the oranges.  The farm where the avocados are grown is called La Atalaya  in Malaga, Spain, where the climate is sub-tropical.  The farm has been organic right from the start - and mangoes and avocados have been grown there since the 1970s.

They're all quite firm just now which means that there will be plenty of time to enjoy them at their best.  And I'm sure they will taste as delicious as they look ......................
