A Nice Morning Sky

It didn't last.
Drizzle and freezing cold was the order of the day really.
Particularly annoying when the radio (and the national weather) keeps banging on about what a great day it is.

Everything in the house that needs a battery seems to have elected to die this week so I had to go and buy a bag of all sizes.
Did you know that batteries are not cheap - and that shop assistants scowl at you when you ask if the is discount when buying in bulk?

I seem to have spent hours today sanding - I am trying to resuscitate the dead mugs, but not holding out any real hopes of success.

I had a zoom meeting this evening to try and enable uploading pictures for a forthcoming competition - and am very pleased to say that I wasn't the only person having problems.
The pictures seem to have been sent - so I am just waiting to be told there is something wrong with them and will have to go through the brain ache all over again.

The youngest sister-in law is back in hospital for the 2nd time in a few days. Not her appendix apparently ..... her gut. No surgery required apparently.

I found them a bit overpowering compared to the lead shot with the blue which took over as the sun rose (before vanishing).
