Groyne in the telling

Q : How many people does it take to put a number on a groyne?
A : Eight! Four Council workers, two Police officers and two Coastguards!

The reason for all this activity? To instal numbers on each groyne to assist locating a rescue in case of an emergency. One of our witty neighbours we met on our walk today suggested the numbers would also help us to find our way home!!

It was surprisingly cold today with an increasingly strong easterly as we clambered over the rocks taking advantage of the very low tide.

Scotland and England both won their games tonight on their way to where their Qatar may still gently weep!
