Busy times. I have submitted a project that has taken some 19 years to get to this point for display at an exhibition being held at the Otago School of Art, it's been accepted and now needs to be 'finished' in about a week.

The story sounds stranger each time I explain it to people who stop and ask as I work in the workshop, the first drawings of this were drawn 19 years ago when I was a first year at design school, the model was done some time afterwards - 16 to 18 years ago and it has followed me around ever since.

Over the next week or so I am fibre-glassing the foam model, eroding away the excess foam, adding more glass, fairing it all in then painting it, hopefully to end up with a convincing prototype...
