Sydney Opera House

Today was the first meeting of my walking group for 2021. We caught a ferry to Parramatta and walked to 10km or so to Meadowbank and got a ferry back to Circular Quay, from where I took today's photo.

To our surprise, today was the official opening of the first section of the walk, which makes it complete. The commemorative plaque with maroon velvet curtains was still up.

During the lunch break someone worked out how long we had till the next ferry so we had to leg it (or wait at the wharf for another half hour). Made it in time. Anti inflammatory with dinner tonight.
