Salford Quays

This area was derelict land following the decline of the Manchester Docks, and as a result of one of the biggest urban regeneration projects Salford Quays was constructed. The modern architecture is lit up brilliantly, reflecting in the waters of the old ship canal.
Went to see "Horrible Histories" at the Lowry Arts Centre, a brilliant and funny performance with stunning 3D effects, fantastic acting and great songs about king Henry VIII 's unfortunate wives! Well worth seeing!
