Fresh Fruit Salad Cake

Woke up this morning feeling back to normal after a lethargic post vaccine couple of days.
Got on with my mid-week baking, was going to make Fresh Cream and Strawberry sponge, until I saw the state of the strawberries, when I got them out of the fridge. Salvaged a couple of them that went between the two layers of cake. So the top layer became  fresh fruit salad cake
Turned out ok and still some left for tomorrow.
