All shipshape, hooray!

Today we made a trip to check that our boat was still afloat and hadn't filled up with rainwater over the lockdown. Careful reading of the regulations confirmed that boats are classed in the same way as second homes in Scotland at the moment. This means one is allowed to visit briefly to check that all is well and carry out any essential repairs but mustn't use it as 'an excuse for a holiday'. Fortunately all was well apart from needing to reset the electricity trip switch to keep the dehumidifier running. We're looking forward to the end of April when we'll be allowed to get back on board to prepare for some summer cruising, or at least some day trips around the beautiful Clyde Estuary. We chose a lovely sunny day.
