Spring?

A fierce, cold, easterly wind seemed an unfair twist after the warm sunshine of a day or two ago.   There's more cold air coming our way next week - yours too if you are in the UK - but we're hoping for a return of the sun tomorrow as today was also grey.

A busy and productive day.   I made an early start and got a couple of hours in at work this morning, returning to find Ruth up for breakfast while my tummy was saying "lunch!"   A health check at the vets for Meg which fixed a chipped tooth closely followed by a visit to the builder's merchant for some decking this afternoon then Tim and Jamie finished their decking project.   Jamie now has a platform out the back door where he can sit in the sun .... and plans to extend it.    

In some places the blackthorn is in full bloom but after a cold spring there are places where it's only just breaking bud.   Nice to see it while out with Meg early evening.
