It is a beautiful old town with beautiful squares with terraces "Now everything is closed and shopping by appointment, with only a very limited number of visitors at a time"
The Maas flows through Maastricht, with a beautiful Maasboulevard. There are beautiful old stately buildings. You can take a walk through Maastricht that shows you all the historic buildings.
I went there today with my daughter to go to the optician for new glasses. We also made some arrangements at a few stores. After 3 months of total lockdown you really need something. haha. We bought lunch and ate it on a bench on the Maasboulevard. Despite lockdown and strict laws, it was a fun day.
