Refurbished with love

My Dad made this table when he was around 12 or 13, he'll be 83 this year. After decades of use in his childhood home, then his own, it had been relegated to the shed as a painting storage table, covered in all sorts of stains and stories. He had put it outside to go to the tip but Mum smuggled it to us so we could sand it down, fix those 70 year old dovetail joints and oil in some of those stories and wax it back to life.

He was very chuffed, and we really loved spending time on it.
