April Fool's Pre-empted!

I had a crafty little plan and a leafy looking little skipper all prepared to be blipped for Abstract Thursday on this April Fool's Day, but before I could get home to get it done, I was accosted by this fine -looking fellow!  He reminded me of the Heron Rule and its companion, the Egret Exception, which mandates that I suspend any other blips, if I get a good enough shot of an Egret to blip.  So my main blip is the last shot I got of this Great Egret as he flew over my head.  In the extras, I put one of him walking in the creek.  I am really glad he visits us here in Central Texas and there is always next year for an April Fool's blip!
