Desperate times call for desperate measures

I never expected to see the day when I would buy these for the church. In fact they are a relatively recent invention. But trust some company to target churches and create something a bit hokey.

These are communion cups pre-filled and sealed with grape juice AND a small wafer.

You hand them out before the service of Holy Communion to people and when it’s time, we all pop the tops to get to the wafer, and pop it again to get to the juice.

I’m not sure I like it but hey, it will help some to relax a bit and feel safe.

I got them for this weekend as we will celebrate communion twice. We’ll see how it goes.

I just hope we don’t all pop at the same time.
