Peter's Wood.

Another day out in the fresh air, this time out from home on the bike up onto the Charnwood Forest.

I'd been meaning to pop to Peter's Wood for a while to see how long it takes to get there and if it would be viable work day lunchtime spot to get away from the screens; it is.

The wood was planted for the reason you can see in the photo and my parents were part of its planting, they planted two trees, which I believe are named after me and my sister. Next time I'm up there I shall take some metal polish and give the plaque a bit of a spruce up.
