The Castle....

seen from woods along the ridge, where I have never walked before. There was a Roe grazing in the field below me and Lapwings, Curlew, Oystercatchers and Skylark all singing and nesting up here. There were Crossbills calling too.
Later found some Coltsfoot in flower.
It was a misty morning after overnight frost but the afternoon turned sunny and brighter.
