Chionodoxa Take 3

I’ve been playing again with the 7Artisans 35mm lens but with a 16mm extension tube attached.  It’s all a learning challenge for me at the moment to see what I can do with it.  These were all hand-held, so a bit tricky to make sure the focal point was sharp enough - maybe I haven’t always got there.

What else today?  Local shopping for bread from Silkstone Bakery and duck breasts from Wortley Farm Shop.  I’ve been wanting to eat duck ever since GG described her recipe.  I’m not sure my version will be quite so Chinese in it’s flavours.  I’ve written her description down in my phone notepad - if I’ve done it as well as I wrote out the recipe for the purple poppy there are bound to be gaps - my suggestion is that I buy the duck and she cooks it. 

More news of my friend's funeral and cause of death today - a very sad end to her life.
