High Teas

On my walk today I came across the return of the kiosks. They were being lowered onto their plinths on the beach after wintering inland. A small crowd had gathered. I saw a friend there who said he loved cranes. I could hear by standing experts saying, ‘I wouldn’t have done it like that... I didn’t see any swallows over Paignton today but this soaring tea hut was a bonus. I think it was going to be a while before the kettle was put on.
