Flower Friday

I went out into the garden in a brief interlude of sunshine and took a few flower photos including this one of next doors overhanging tree blossom
This afternoon, venturing slightly further afield, we went up to Nosterfield, not the prettiest of bird reserves, but very friendly bird watchers with some pretty serious gear - and a willingness to share their discoveries and their scopes -we saw godwit, little ringed plovers, avocet, an egret, oystercatchers, lapwing, various ducks and a pair of grebes in a weed sharing mating ritual - not great weather for photos - dull, cold and grey - but I’ve put a small montage in extras
