You can't rush these things

Three and a half years ago I bought these wooden buttons in Kyoto with the specific intention of replacing  the gold buttons on a favourite cardigan. We spent three lovely weeks in Japan in 2017 on a self-guided tour and Kyoto was a highlight.  It's taken me three and a half years to get around to replacing the buttons but today was the day. Well, you know, you can't rush these things.
