Spring Parcels
At Christmas the Community Council put together bags of goodies for older people who live locally. It was great fun delivering them and having a chat with neighbours. We decided to do a scaled down version for spring/Easter. Here are my five (of nearly 40) bags ready to be dropped off. We haven't made them an Easter gift as not everyone celebrates Easter but everyone likes chocolate and glacier mints. A young local photographer (not a blipper) gave us a very good deal on 40 of her lovely cards and the chap who owns the newsagent shop donated the sweeties. People are so kind and the recipients so appreciative. As far as community council work goes it's an absolute delight and a counterbalance to dog poo, rats and parking issues.
It's so sunny and warm. A perfectly beautiful day.
