The day started well, with delivery of an unexpected package containing chocolate!

A very enjoyable late afternoon walk. To avoid Good Friday crowds we chose the little-used track up through Monday Cleugh and went up to Harehope Hill. Fabulous 360deg views from the top! Then on to St Cuthbert's Way and back down to Wooler through the Common. Despite the good forecast for today, the crowds proved to be non-existent! In 4 hours we saw only four other people - far fewer than usual!
