Last Supper

Thursday 1st April 2021 - Maundy Thursday

We had our service of Holy Communion in church this morning, including the stripping of the altar and the Garden of Gethsemane. It was so good to be in church on this Holy Day. It's amazing how 38 in a large building suddenly feels like a full church. It would normally feel a small congregation. 

This evening we had a united service with the URC on Zoom (about 60 attending) and that was followed by a Watch of the Passion back in our church, with just a handful taking part. It is beginning to feel a bit more "normal".
