An Average Shot

For an average day. I could not sleep last night. I watched before I went to bed a video of a Mardi Gras attendee who was brutally assaulted by police, and it really upset me. I had a photo of the Sydney skyline ready to post, though this slightly dull photo of my sparkle dress seemed apt. Watching that video took the edge off a magical evening, and made me question how in a developed country in 2013 how such fear can exist at the hands of the police. This type of 'rant' is out of character for me, but I have to share- this is not or will continue to be my usual genre.
