Belvedere Tower
Marian was going to a garden centre in Kenton to meet a friend this afternoon and I hitched a lift so I could have a walk through the grounds of Powderham Castle. It was wickedly cold in the morning so I was pleased that the sun came out and it was lovely.
After a steep climb you gradually get a glimpse of the belvedere and the field below it was planted with rapeseed which had just started to bloom. I was just wishing there was something to fill the foreground when I saw the cows come through. Perfect!
A little further on the deer were enjoying the sun. They weren't doing anything very interesting but I've put a shot in as an extra.
