Roe Deer

A beautiful morning for an early walk in the park before it got too busy as it undoubtedly would as folk enjoyed the fine weather .... the forecast for tomorrow shows no sun at all and Monday there's a possibility of snow .... hope the meteorologists have got that wrong.

I certainly wouldn't have noticed this little Roe Deer if one of the park staff hadn't stopped his van beside me and pointed up the bank. Giving me a thumbs up he drove off.

She was quite a distance away but apart from an occasional movement of her head she sat perfectly still looking towards the woodland .... perhaps waiting for mum or just enjoying the warmth of the sun.
