Magnolium

The 'recovered' magnolia is coming nicely into flower.  

Given the pretty drastic pruning I had to give it 5 years ago to get it into a tree-like shape, it's testament to the resilience of nature.

In other news, started on the refresh of the garden furniture as noted yesterday - the towel's had a fresh coat of paint and some parts have a selected timber preservative applied - and the fire pit has a fresh coat of heat-tolerant paint.
