River running / Laufen am Fluss
The river Nebel is a tributary of the Warnow, which eventually runs into the Baltic Sea at Warnemünde.
Despite meaning “fog”, it was crisp and clear today, perfect for a walk (or run) to Güstrow’s Wildpark.
Not that I needed to go to the park for fauna: this is one of the cleanest and most biodiverse rivers in Mecklenburg, hosting 29 sources of fish including eels, graylings, brook lamprey, perch, chub, minnows, pike, loaches and loaches - plus rare butterflies, dragonflies, gray wagtails, dippers, and kingfishers.
