Be a little boulder!
I purchased two new wind chimes this past week and in each box with the chimes was a small box that contained a small stone. I added them to my rock collection. The inscribed stones brought a smile as was intended. Hope they have made you smile too.
This morning Kent and I were out in the yard early as we had lots of planting to do. We planted 5 trees!
We planted a Japanese maple that we bought yesterday. We know this is a difficult tree to grow so we are curious to see if we can be successful at it.
We planted a Red Bud to replace yet another dogwood we have lost. Dogwood Anthracnose is very active in our area, which is sad.
We planted a little hibiscus tree by the hummingbird feeder in the circular garden. Something else for the hummingbirds, butterflies & bees.
We then planted two small palm trees that I have been growing from tiny seedlings. The one I have been growing about 6 years and the other probably more than 10.
I had a couple of plants to put in too! Got everything done just in time to be ready to start watching the Saturday sessions of General Conference.
As soon as the first session was over, Kent went to pick up our food for tomorrow while i cooked lunch.
We’ll be watching the second session and then having a quiet evening.
Happy Easter Everyone
Stay home if you can and take care of yourself and each other xx
