Family Fun
Recent ease of lockdown allowed a lovely day today, meeting B,S and the Flumlet for a walk on the Braid Hills followed by lunch in the garden, the Flumlet hunting for Easter eggs while we made final preparations,
Top left: Flumlet with Arthur's Seat in the background; top right; taking a photo on S's phone, of a bumble bee; bottom left: descending from the cave with B and Mr Flum, (after finding all kinds of rubbish, which S bagged up for responsible disposal); B and S wearing essential headgear in the blazing sunshine.
After they had left we watched the ENO singing excerpts from Handel's Messiah, followed by Easter from King's - sublime music, much of which we knew.
But sad news of another death, that of a friend from choir days. None of these were Covid-related yet all are affected by the restrictions.
