Treasure

Now is the season to carefully pull the dead stalks and leaves away and see what might be emerging. We have crocuses, daffodils and strawberry leaves all peeking out. Here in this picture are the heads of new rhubarb gracing us with their presence.
I enjoy a good rhubarb pie or crumble but what I really like is rhubarb chutney. It's delicious with pork..
