Northerly Winds

Strong and gusty peaking to gale this afternoon...Right?
It can get windy in Wanaka and the lake faces North where the wind mostly comes from. There are kite and wind surfers out there having a wonderful time but we did get a great walk this morning before all this got started so it's not really a problem unless you are foolish enough to be in a small boat and further up the lake where it narrows. That could be quite dangerous.
