More pond life

There were lots of greylag geese at the Duntreath Ponds this morning, including a few posing on the bank. The swans didn't look as elegant walking around on land. There were a few Canada geese. I took a lot of shots of where the heron was a moment ago and picked the best from a burst. The extra is the bull I pass on the way to the ponds. He looked quite sedate today. Last week he could hear a cow making a din up on the hillside and he was head butting the gate post. I beat a hasty retreat. I see the farmer has placed a large feeding trough across the gateway.
