Andy the Eagle

Son Andy taps in a putt of little more than 12 inches for an eagle after an incredible drive to the 300 yard par 4 11th hole at Thornbury Golf Club this morning. It was worth getting up early and defrosting the car windscreen(!) just to witness it.

Amazingly I still triumphed overall with my steady game beating the roller coaster ride that was Andy's form today.

Daughter Danielle came over for lunch in the garden and we rendezvoused with Matt, Steph, Harrison, Archie and Ella while they we out on a Easter treasure hunt around the town.

Roast chicken and gammon for tea; what's not to like? :-)
