Blue Heaven

A frosty start and then another fab day! Wall to wall sunshine and I think we've been outside for most of it. The painters arrived bright and early - second coat on the walls, including the tricky bits above the conservatory (we couldn't look while a board was laid across the glass) and Himself availed of the long ladders to do something technical to the woodburner flue. Now they just have the doors and windows to do, and the inside of the conservatory - must just check what's under and behind the settle :/
They left earlyish and we went down west for a blow at Dooneen. The colours were incredible! But the wind was ferocious and nippy. The sea looks most inviting doesn't it? On my way back from getting the papers I stopped off at the swimming beach. Two women were actually swimming and not screaming. They assured me it was lovely though they did confess they'd gone numb. I thought I might be able to plunge in myself. Holy moly - I managed an ankle - the cold was ferocious!
