Carron Dam.

The wind was in the west and blowing stiffly down the valley , forcing the waves to splash quite spectacularly over the dam wall.
We drove up hoping we might spot one of the ospreys which, we have been told, have returned. Sadly they didn’t show up, maybe the weather was a bit too windy for fishing.
Another cold night in prospect and chilly again tomorrow with a threat of hail and/or snow. The joys of a Scottish spring!
