Easter Monday, otherwise known as "Bright Monday" or "Renewal Monday". It really was bright, and breezy, as we walked through Studley Royal early this morning. A couple of extras of livestock encountered along the way. 

Today is sometimes known as Wet Monday .... on Easter Monday in Poland people try to drench each other with buckets of water, water pistols, or anything they can get their hands on. Legend says girls who get soaked on Wet Monday will marry within the year. And in Hungary, it’s not so much water as perfume. On "Ducking Monday” boys sprinkle perfume or perfumed water on girls (after getting permission).
